I tried making lamb for the first time for Easter last Sunday and I am pleased to report that it went quite well. Even the people who don’t generally like lamb enjoyed it. The leftovers were also especially enjoyable when made into Gyros on Monday night (with homemade tzatziki sauce!). I’ll also mention that the potatoes were quite yummy, and that’s coming from a person who usually does not like potatoes unless they’re whipped up with lots of cheese and cream. Here is the recipe I used. The lamb was from WinCo in the pre-wrapped package, so I imagine that a fresher leg of lamb would be even tastier!!
